Sobre guiones, apoyando a las cabezas pensantes

Un guionista es un escritor pese a aquellos que quieren esconder esa realidad y un escritor cobra por sus obras, un guionista cobra por contrato, se venda su trabajo mucho o no, piden participar de los derechos de autor, pastel que se reparten las productoras y no creo que sea una petición tan descabellada. En una cadena de fabricación como Hollywood un parón de tres semanas por falta de materia prima debe acarrear unas pérdidas enormemente cuantiosas, la lección espero la aprendan y valoren a un colectivo vital para el cine. El estancamiento de la "meca del cine" es incontestable, anclada en actores resultones ($$) y derechos comprados a golpe de talonario ($$), entre tanto remake, re-remake, versión extendida, secuela, pre-cuela y bazofia Asia y Europa van entrando en las salas para regocijo de los espectadores. A pesar de mi crítica al cine de allá es obligado reconocer que el cine necesita a hollywood, tiene muchísimas obras magníficas, y las tendrá.

Para reiterar mi apoyo a este colectivo os traigo la lista de los "101 greatest screenplay" (101 mejores guiones del cine) elaborada por la Writters Guild of America (Asociación de guionistas) y aunque es algo nacional, entendido esto como poco abierta hacía títulos extranjeros, merece la pena ser ojeada. Evidentemente la valoración será discutible pero la calidad de las películas innegable, pués ahí tenemos a grandes guionistas, muchos de ellos grandes desconocidos, conozcámoslos por un día.
